A bitter-sweet reminder: We lost our baby a month before the due date. This was our first baby and, because it was late-in-life, we felt this was our last and only chance. We are praying that this is not the case. It is a sweet reminder, however, seeing all our friends and family in this video. I’m glad that we captured the discussion rather than just showing the target being shot even though it may be a little boring for viewers who do not know me.
This was a great gender reveal idea. We used a 6″ target from “PoofThereitis” (on Etsy) to do a surprise reveal of our baby’s gender. They recommended using a shotgun to maximize the “poof”. The “poof” was bright and it had a very large spread (we were not sure as there was not many videos of people shooting these on YouTube).
We chose not to go with a tenorite explosion as it was difficult to find a safe location (plus I’m not very good at long distance rifle shooting).
